how to dry freshly dyed laces?

having just dyed said laces - it is now drizzeling outside...
can't just shove them in the tuble drier without something else to sread out the heat - but I may get colour creep onto what is in TD with it...

why don't i just place them under artemis? She's not likely to move in the next day or so and she does have a certain ammount of body heat and absorbtion... to which N replies,

"Vet, vet! my cat has broken out in lilac stipes!"
