1. What is your SCA re-enactment name? (You don't have to write the full name, just your first name if you want.)
Abigail - also happens to be a variation of my own name. I have seen too many sca people loose themselves quite literally in a persona. I am me – no one else, here there and everywhere and at the end of the day it is same old me looking out from the mirror. (aint turning into a fairy princess in gravity defying chiffon any time soon…)
2. What is your home kingdom event?
Kentwell – previously Insular draconis when it was still a shire (and I ran it) and even more previously Eastern
3. Have you ever lived in another kingdom? If so, where?

4. Do you remember your first SCA re-enactment event? When/what was it?
1983 Knights of Columbus Hall, Pittsburgh, Pa. Can only be described as culture shock.
5. Do you have any awards? (You don't have to list them if you don't want)
Nope. Managed to aviod them – sorry but in my day to be queen you had to sleep with somebody – to get an award you had to be a champion arse kisser of near godlike ability (at arse kissing that is – real talent need not apply)
Have the backhanded kentwell awards…
As in if you are good at something you get “volunteered” into service ;)
6. Do you list them after your name in communications like e-mail?
no
7. Do you have a device?
in real life – the DH does
8. Do you use it? On what?
it is a double chevron – we use it to mark our property, mugs, bags, tool boxes… you cant write your name on items at kentwell – unless you could actually write
9. Are you on all the kingdom/society lists available to you, or do you avoid them?
online only – please don’t fill my mail box with tat!
10. Do you keep your Pennsic/Estrella/Gulf Wars/etc. site tokens?
Passports yes – mainly to look back at embarassing passport photos
11. Do you keep the favours you've been given by royalty/friends/Sos, etc.? Do You wear them all?
We dont do favours.
12. Do you call your friends by their SCA Kentwell names even when you're not at an event?
they have other names?
13. Do you go out to dinner in garb after an event?
only to certain kentwell pubs – walking around outside in gear can ruin the illusion that the manor is in a time warp
14. Do you have all kinds of garb, or do you generally stick to one period?
When the year changes – so does the dress
15. How many interests do you have within the SCA Kentwell? What's your favourite?
All of them – id like to do everything at least once
16. Do you have an SCAcostuming/re-enactment -oriented web site (to show off projects, keep dress diaries, etc.)?

17. Do you maintain a hairstyle that is more period style than modern?
No – but I do maintain a modern style that fits perfectly under a coif without having to use hair pins
18. Do you tell "No $###, there I was" stories? (Admit it.) Do any of them involve well-known SCA people?
all the time! And they probably tell embarrassing stories about me too
19. Authenticity is Fun. Yes or no? Why?
yes – all the way! This is about experimental archaeology; exploring the past. Everything is actually easier and more comfortable if you use authentic techniques.
20. Is there one modern thing at events that really bugs you?
Glasses – I make them. In solid sterling silver the materials cost less than 25gbp – which is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY less than the average price of frames at 100!!!!! No excuse not to have authenty specs!
Bonus Question! 21. Everyone has a shameful garb/accessory mistake hidden somewhere in their past. What's yours? (We're all friends here, we promise not to laugh. Much.)
