first there was the finch who thought he was a car alarm (three days of a super soaker took care of that

next morning cat opera at 5am

next morning the fire alarm decided it needed a new battery at 4am

yesterday some strange scottsman with a delivery lorry chose MY door to ring for directions at 5am

today is the bin men's annual dawn patrol

We have a chaffinch who does NOT SHUT UP all the live long day and spends most of his time perched on the telephone wire. Even if I had a super soaker, I doubt my aim would be that good or the water would reach that far. I keep hoping one of the cats will happen upon him when he is closer to hand. But that's terrible isn't it!
